On a day when we approach any information with caution, when at the time it may have been a joke but, time has shown, certainly not a scam. Seven girls, as long-term members of the Folklore Ensemble Turopolje, in the 'change of generation' decided to turn their singing experience into a home gathering with a song, in order to preserve many years of acquired knowledge and friendship. They thus unknowingly opened their new amateur ‘career’. From the gathering, a small singing group was born, which they eventually named - JANE.

Following the footsteps of acquired folklore foundations and not succumbing to many 'modern' styles, in the spirit of traditional music and unique visual identity, JANE has achieved, through numerous concerts and major competitions, an enviable number of awards and recognitions, both at home and abroad.Therefore, deservedly and in accordance with the times, this website of the JANE Ensemble is opened today, as an additional source of information on the history of the ensemble and as a permanent record of the same, but also as a space for all interested who want to follow JANA activities in the future.. .
